My incoming signings

As usual i have a massive reshuffle before the january window, i have done so with ipswich big time, i have so far 8 players joining, most of them are youngsters or regens, here they are readers,

Siebe Blondelle-150KThis guy was another one of my dutch signings, said to be amazing by my good friends who have done wigan stories and they say hes in their team ahead of micah richards. I use attribute masking to make the game more challenging. He has some nice attributes and hes young

Ryan Bennett- 400k

He is 19 and is already a captain, he has good skills and plenty of time to improve, we need strength at the back as i missed out on the likes of sol campbell who was a major target, i always like a deep squad but good depth is needed, nice to have a youngster to show off

Brian Murphy- 165k

He is already set to join ipswich when you begin, he will of course be very important as backup, but my keeper is looking solid so far so no chance of a first team place, obviously hes masked but you can see some nice ratings in there.

Sebastian Szimayer- 450k
He is another recommendation, better be worth it as i blew some nice money on him, but if he doesnt i can sell him, wehen are a team i seem to find good regens in, though hes not a regen my hopes are up

Johan Fano-Free

Hes probably the best signing, for start look at those physical attributes, very impressive indeed, and his goalscoring record for one of the worst clubs in peru is good, i always sign him, he did amazing in the prem with burnley, so lets see how it goes for me.

My other signings are all regens so theres no point doing screenies as it will not help you guys, please enjoy the rest of the story, i hope to post my 2/3 update of the season in the next week

A solid start

So basically ive had a very good start to be honest. The team after a 4 game winless streak pulled themselves together and started to win, we are unbeaten in 6 currently, here are my resultsSome good wins there, it seems that the likes of John walters and ebi smolarek are doing well, however due to circumstances i have dropped walters and replaced him with tamas priskin, he plays up along side ebi smolarek usually. They seem to work well together

Below are the player stats sorted by goals

Ebi smolarek is the top scorer, but the likes of tamas priskin, grant leadbitter, alexandre mendy and jonathan walters are not far behind. I have bee pleased with the goalscoring efforts from the players

Below its sorted by average rating
So ive been impressed, to me above a 6.85 is pretty good, and the majority have that, i have only just started playing lee martin instead of carlos edwards and its a good change at the moment. I want liam rosenior permanently but dont have the cash, soon i will share the players i will be getting in january, that will be in the next update along with my guide to scouting and the scouts to buy

and finally here is the league table that you all want to see
A solid start has given us playoff safety, i want this to improve though i want the top 2 spots, wish me luck in the rest of the season blog followers

The signings

With the 3.4 million i knew i would have to invest wisely and look at the dutch and spanish leagues for some cheap players, now looking back on my signings i was pretty happy, it was a shaky pre season as i was looking for tactics to use, hopefully ive found it now
I will analyze all the signings, why i signed them will be the main point ill share, but ill also share how important they could be for us

Jamaique Vandamme: He cost me peanuts from Roda JC, he will be a squad player but when summoned he can score goals as he proved in pre season, he will find it hard to replace Smolarek in the team but he can still be important for us

Ondrej Svejdik: This guy cost me 300 000 pounds from FC Groningen. Not much for a player who will command the backline of the team, he will be a first team player im sure of it and he is tutoring a youngster for me

Ebi Smolarek: This guy will lead the team to promotion hopefully, his goals will be so important, i havent seen him in action yet as he was injured for the pre season, hopefully he can be important, he must play well with his partner Jonathan Walters up front

Alexandre Mendy: He will be ridiculously important for the side, his stats are premeirship quality, he has great crossing which is so badly needed for my team at this present time, also i must make use of jonathan walters 20 heading ability
Richard Brodie: Honestly was just bought for backup, he wont play much but didnt cost anything so its ok

Matthew Barnes-Homer: A player i signed for backup, will be a substitute mainly because his pace may be important when chasing games late in the match

Karim Soltani: The algerian winger was an expensive signing, he cost 650 000 pounds from ADO Den Haag, not that much but it is for a championship team, he will be a first team player, he is tutoring Lee Martin as i want some wingers for the future

The pre season had 2 wins 2 draws and 4 losses, mostly premiership teams in my pre season, and i was experimenting with tactics, wish me luck in the main season readers.

Ipswich will return to the europa league and beyond

To readers of this blog, ive really not felt that great recently which has stopped me playing football manager. so i really lost interest in the bristol rovers file, so i chose my hometown team ipswich, 7 years ago they were playing in the uefa cup, now they are championship strugglers, with 3.4 million to spend in order to win promotion i must work extremely hard to make sure that i make the right signings, hope people follow this and i expect to do about 5-6 seasons on this.
